Anthony - Combo box on User Form

Hello,

I have created a user form which uses combo boxes to determine which record is to be updated and then data is inputted for that record in to my data sheet in Excel.

I'm not sure if it's possible but is there a way to format the combo box so that if information has been entered in for a particular record, it highlights that name or puts a tick against it (for example) so that you can see which records have been updated and which are yet to be updated?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you.

RE: Anthony - Combo box on User Form

Hello Sharon,

Unfortunately, what you require is not possible at the combo box level, although not impossible to achieve, but requires deeper programming using Class Modules, and creating your own class object. Unfortunately, i'm unable to explain the whole programming required here.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.

Excel tip:

Display Functions on Worksheets

Functions in Excel can be difficult to recall their format/syntax

For example, you want to use the =PMT function.

Enter =PMT, then select keystroke, CTRL+SHIFT+A.

This usful memory jog, will display the arguments of a function on a worksheet, allowing the user to proceed with the generation of the function
