Advanced Animation

Hi
I was testing out some of my new skills last night and when selecting a shape I'd drawn (a line) to "whip" the whip option (amongst others) was greyed out.

any idea why?

thanks

RE: Advanced Animation

Hello Charlie,

Depending on the object you are attempting to animate, some animations will not be available as they are not possible on that type of object, e.g. if I try to animate the Flip (letters drop in to the screen) on a photo or clip art, this option is greyed out as its not possible to apply.

I hope this resolves your question. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.

RE: Advanced Animation

Hi Mark

I was trying to re-do the process flow diagram we did in the training. So the "whip" was on the line I'd drawn between the first and 2nd boxes. It worked during the training which was why I was unsure it had greyed out during my test at home. I'll give it another go and if it's still not working, I'll contact you again

thanks
Charlie

RE: Advanced Animation

Hello Charlie,

Are you sure it wasn't the Wipe animation, thats what we used in class to give the illusion of the line being drawn!!

Have a great day.
