Unaccepted meetings appearing in calendar

Hello,
In the past when I was sent meeting requests in Outlook they would automatically appear (as tentttive) in my calendar, this no longer seems to happen. I also had a situation with 2010 where I acepted the original request and it went into my calendar but when an update was sent with room booking the meeting disappeared from my calendar.

I get a lot of meeting requests and am not always able to accept them all - it would be really helpful if any meeting requests appeared in some form in my calendar.

Hope this makes some sense.
Many thanks,
Paul

RE: Unaccepted meetings appearing in calendar

Hello Paul,

I have done some research on this and it seems you are not alone with this issue. The reason I asked about what exchange server your company is using is because I have read that there are some issues when working with 2003 server and the outlook accounts are 2010. This may very well be the cause of your problem. If you are still getting the same problems after upgrading to Exchange server 2010, talk to your IT team and see if they can come up with a solution.

Also, take a look at the Options for Outlook located on the File tab. Check the email options first and then check the calendar options. See if you can find a check box that is ticked when in fact it should be un-ticked or vice-versa.

I hope this helps. If it has, please mark this question as resolved.

If you require further assistance, please reply to this post. Or perhaps you have another Microsoft Office question?

Have a great day.
