Excel Advanced course

Linked pick list

How do I create a linked pick list? For example, my first list is Region (e.g. Europe) but I want the next list to have only the countries in that particular region (e.g. UK, Spain etc etc).

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Linked pick list

Hi Jade, thanks for your query. What you are trying to create is a dependent drop down using data validation. There are some good walkthroughs here:

http://www.ozgrid.com/Excel/dependent-lists.htm

Hope this helps,

Anthony

Here's how to present your data in a chart format:

Highlight the data you wish to use in a chart

Click the Insert Ribbon

In the Charts Group, select Column Chart

Your chart will then appear on your work sheet.
