Read specific cell value and same value named Folder/file into c

I read a specific cell Value in my current worksheet.
This cell value happens to be the same name of the FOLDER and FILE name in a specified path on the C: drive.

If found (only got one sheet in it) I want to copy and paste values
into my current workbook in a specified named work sheet.
Otherwise display file not found.

Appreciate you help on this
Kindest Regards
Pal

RE: Read specific cell value and same value named Folder/file in

Hi Palvinder, sorry for the delay in getting back to you. Your query involves several different aspects already covered in our course material, such as moving data from one sheet to another and error trapping. One addition, however, is testing to see whether a file or folder exists which these links should help you with:

Hope this helps,

Excel tip:

Adding up time greater than 24 hours

When you add up time if it exceeds 24 hours i.e 27 hours appears as 03:00. Go to Format / Cells / Number / Custom. The format is hh:mm but if change it to [hh]:mm it will add up to the correct amount of hours.
