Hi Cathy,

There are a few ways to do this. It's more of a graphic art skill than a web design skill, but one that goes hand-in-hand with web design, really!

You can use software packages such as Adobe Flash or Jasc Animation Shop to create animated images, and these can be any dimensions you choose (banner size presumably!)

These then need to be exported to an animation format that can be included on your web page (the standard if GIF, or for flash movie, SWF).
