George has attended:
Excel Intermediate course

Formulas

What formula does one need to use to calculate for instance 'future sales' based upon current sales data?

Thanks

RE: Formulas

Hi George,

Thanks for your question.

The answer to your question really depends on what calculation you want to do to return the future sales! For example, if you would predict a 5% return next year your formula could be =A1*5% given that A1 contains your present sales and the formula (A1*5%) is contained in a different cell.

If you let me know what calculations you are looking at I could look into the options.

Hope that helps

Tracy

Excel tip:

Create a unique items table from a duplicating table

1. Ensure that your list has column headings
2. Select the entire list
3. From the menu bar, select DATA, FILTER, ADVANCED FILTER
4. Select "Filter the list, in place", and tick the "Unique Records Only" box
5. Click OK, filtered list appears.
