RE: tasks

Hi Rowland

Thanks for your question.

You can get Project to sort tasks for you.

You can do this by:

1. Choosing any sheet view from View menu.
2. On the Project menu, point to Sort, and then click the sorting option you want.
3. To set your own sort criteria, point to Sort, and click Sort by. Then, in the Sort by box, click a field by which to sort your data, and click Ascending or Descending to specify the sort order.

If you want to sort by additional fields, in the Sort dialog box, click additional criteria in the Then by boxes.

To return to the default sort order, click Reset in the Sort dialog box.

I hope this helps.
Amanda

Many thanks

Ms project tip:

Enter a Date

You can enter today's date (or tomorrow's date) in a date field, by simply typing in the word 'today'or 'tomorrow' and Project will insert the date for you.
