Project 2003 Question
Is there any way to delete an item once it has been indented?it seems alittle strange that once you have indented a task you cant undo it

Hi LeeYes the indenting of items can take a little while to get used to. The principle is that if you indent a task then the row above it becomes a summary (by default it goes bold and its duration is now that of the tasks indented below it)
To stop a task being a summary task you need to outdent the tasks below it. Once a summary task has nothing indented below it then it returns to being a regular task.
To outdent a task simply right click on the task and from the menu that appears choose outdent.
One other point to bear in mind is that if you delete a summary task Project will warn you that it will also remove any of the tasks indented below it.
