Hi Alexis

Thanks for your question.

If you are having the problem where Word starts renumbering from 1 at the beginning of a new section (therefore page numbers aren't consective), then you can go into the header or footer where the page number is located; then click the 'Format Page number' button on the Header/Footer toolbar.

Then select the 'Continue from previous section' option and click OK, and close out of the header/footer area. You will likely need to do this in each section.

To format text in Word 2010, first, select the text to be formatted, go to the Home tab where you will see groups such as Font, Paragraph or Styles.
