Track Changes

Is there anyway if two people have added tracked changes (and thus they appear in different colours) to then make all tracked changes one colour?

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Track Changes

Hi Kate

First go to the tools menu and choose options then click on the track changes tab. From here you can switch from the default setting (that markup is indicated with a different colour per author) and force a particular colour for each of the markup types.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any further questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Word tip:

Check The Text Style Used

For people who use styles there is a quick way of checking which style has been used on text.

Press Shift-F1. The cursor turns to a question mark and pointer.

Click in the text you want to know about and Word opens the 'Reveal Formatting' task pane showing all the information on the style (its font, formatting and so on).
