Vlookup allows you to find a value that you specify in a range or table of data, and then return a corresponding value.
It is a very fast way of finding and matching data.

So, for example -

You could find an employee number "E067" in a table of 1000's of employees, and then return their name, department, or phone number.

Excel tip:

Cycling through Absoulte cell references

If you are working with formulas in excel and need to convert your formula to an absolute formula, instead on manually adding in the $dollar signs you can highlight the specific part of your formula and press the F4 key.

You can cycle through all the absolute options by pressing the button (up to four times)

Hi, I have two problems:

1 - On one of my reports that i have opened on a colleagues computer all of the text in a cell is bunched up into the middle preventing you from reading the content - what can i do?

2 - On another report i can view the text ..
