Please cold you give us some more information regarding what you want to achieve.

EG:
Do you want to copy data from two columns, located in different worksheets, at the same time.
Why do you need to do this?
Where are you placing the results?

Hi Richard,
thank you for you reply.
on a quarterly basis, I update our course postage forecast taking into account the changes in the student numbers for each course. so every quarter, I extract the student number updates from the University's planning website. then I copy (encode manually) the student numbers one by one to the row and column corresponding to the different course codes (thousands of them) in my postage forecast worksheet. The format of the two worksheets are different which is why I cannot simply copy the whole student number column from the planning report to my forecast worksheet because the rows are not identical. but in both worksheets there are same columns for Course Codes and Student Numbers. Is there a formula I can use please for this purpose?
