Hi Anita.

Hope you enjoyed your Dreamweaver 8 Introduction course.

Select the text or image you want to turn into a link. Go to the properties panel (if it's not shown, go to Window -> Properties) and type the name of the file, anchor or URL you wish to link to. Press Enter and the text/image will turn into a link.

The code view would look like this:
<a href="http://www.microsofttraining.net">Image or text here</a>
