What is the difference between a split screen and freeze frame?

RE: Split screen/freeze panes

Freeze pane will lock all rows to the left and columns above the cell you select before freezing. This effectively cretes borders or title areas that do not move when you scroll.

Split actually creates 4 windows that you can independantly scroll to various parts of the worksheet

Excel tip:

Editing a formula quickly

If you want to edit a fomrula or text quickly witin a cell instead of the formula bar, you can click either double click in the cell or press the F2 key
