How do i insert lots of images on one page without it taking ages to load?

Hi Hannah,

Either place your images over a range of pages (eg. 'this is page 6 of 20') or ensure the file-size for each image is small. The smaller the better.

Using thumbnails (small image files) to link to larger versions of the image is also effective.

PS. I've found Picasa Web Albums to be the best place to store my photos, and it's free!

Testing a site

When developing a site, you have to cater to the widest possible audience allowing for users with different browsers and display settings.
Test pages to see how they look with:

- different display resolutions
- browser with graphics turned off
- many different browsers not just IE
- if possible different operating systems.
