Strategy analyst

I actually attended two Excel courses with Best Training. However, I would like to know how to pdf a word document, but still allow for the attachments within the doc to be accessed by clicking on them. (Excel, Power Point, Word, pdf s are all opened by a click in the word version)
We basically need to ensure people can use the tools and templates but NOT change anything the the main document.

I would be grateful for any advice,

RE: Strategy analyst

Hi Annika

Thanks for your post.

Please refer to the following page on the Abode website for instructions on how to preserve hyperlink functionality when PDF'ing Word documents:
http://www.adobe.com/support/techdocs/328556.html

I hope this helps to solve your problem, otherwise you could consider using form fields in your Word document to stop people from altering the text in the main document whilst still being able to use the hyperlinks included in the file. Forms are covered as part of our Word Advanced course.

Regards
Amanda

Word tip:

Close a Document

Word opens multiple documents in multiple windows. Press CTRL+F4 (Function 4 key) or ALT+F4. to Close a document.
(There is no way to turn this feature off) So unlike other programs there is no difference between CTRL+F4 and ALT+F4, unless you have just one document open. CTRL+F4 closes just the document ALT+F4 closes both the document and Word.

forum postI have access to my boss's "inbox" and regularly send emails on his behalf. However, when the item is sent, the sent mail goes into my Sent Items and not his. Is there anything I can do to get his sent items appear in his "Sent Items"..
