Sally has attended:
Word Intermediate course

Table Headings

How do I set up a table so that the table headings will appear automatically if the table runs onto another page?

Many thanks.

RE: Table Headings

Hi Sally

Thank you for your question.

You can do this by going to Table - Heading Rows Repeat from the menu. Your cursor will need to be sitting inside the table for you to do this.

Note this will only work if you let the table break naturally over more than one page. If you force the table to break over a page at a certain row, then you will need to copy and paste the headings at the top of the table on the next page.

RE: Table Headings

it worked - thanks Amanda!

Word tip:

Adding text quickly for quick exercises

if you type in =rand(5,5) this will give you 5 paragraphs each containing 5 sentances of "The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog"
