My raw data contains text data also.
How can I get text to appear as a data item on my pivot table?

Thanks for your question.
Unfortunately you can't display text data in the data items area of a pivot table. As an alternative, you could display the text fields in the Row and Column areas, and then show a count of the records in the data items area.
