Hi Rachel

I hope you learnt a lot from your microsoft excel intermediate course.

A macro is basically just a set of intrusions that you can run by clicking a button. The purpose of a macro is that if you have a lot of repetitive tasks that you have to do on a regular basis, you can just record or code a macro. When the macro is recorded it can be run by clicking a button. So by using a macro you could save yourself a lot of time, by automating repetitive tasks.
