You can link one cell in one file to another cell in a different file by:

Opening both files

Choosing the cell that you want the linked result to appear in

Press =

Go to the other file and clicking on the cell you want to link to

Press Enter.

Hiding and unhiding columns using the keyboard

CTRL + 0 hides your columns and CTRL + SHIFT + ) unhides them although you would need to highlight the column letters either side as per normal
