Importing Internet

How do I import an article/anything from the internet in to a PowerPoint presentation, without having to save to a folder first?

RE: Importing Internet

Hi Michelle

Thanks for your question.

There are two ways of going about this:

1. Select and copy the text from the web page that you want to include in your presentation; then paste it onto a slide. If you are using the 2002 or 2003 version of PowerPoint, a paste smart tag (with the Paste button icon) should show after you have pasted, click on it and select Use Design Template formatting if necessary.

2. You can create a link to the web page itself. You can do this by typing text into your presentation, selecting it, right-clicking and choosing Hyperlink. You can then create a link to the web page, so that when you are running the presentation in slide show view, you can click on the link and have the web page come up on the screen.
