Referential integrity

Where you have two existing tables both already populated with data, if you then select referential integrity between a foreign and primary key on each table, will Access validate the two table ensuring that referential integrity exists?

i.e. would tou receive an error message if there is a record on one table which breaches the referential integrity rule you are trying to create.

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Referential integrity

The answer is yes, Access should validate the relationship.
A suggestion is to make a copy of your database, and then test this to see exactly what your result will be.
