Chris has attended:
Project Intro Intermediate course

Time records

Is it possible to use MS Project to record times worked by different contributors?

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Time records

Hi Chris

Thanks for your question - the answer relates directly to your other post. The Resource Usage view lets you record actual time-phased work completed (from the format menu choose Details then Actual Work)

Once you have baselined your project you can also double click tasks in this view to update actual work carried out by the resource. Although it's not quite as detailed as using the full sheet you do still get to allocate work carried out on a resource by resource basis.

If we can be of any further help please do let us know.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Ms project tip:

Format individual bars on your GANTT chart

To draw attention to a bar on your Gantt chart simply double click it. From the dialogue box that opens make your selection of text and bar modifications.
