how do i import photos off my desktop into word within shapes?

Hi Hajley

Thank you for your question.

You can do this by drawing the shape, then right-clicking on the shape and choosing Format AutoShape. Then go to the Colour and Lines tab, use the dropdown next to Fill colour and select Fill Effects. Then choose the Picture tab, and use the Select button to navigate to the desktop and select the picture. Then Insert - OK - OK.

Word tip:

Insert Screen Clips in Word 2010

You can insert screen captures easily into a Word 2010 document by selecting Screenshot from the Insert tab. This launches a gallery of windows currently open and you can click one to insert an image of the window into your document. When you press Enter, the screen capture gets inserted automatically.
