Hi Phillippe

I guess that would depend on what you wanted to use the data for, or how you wanted it to be arranged.

You might consider using Sort, AutoFilter or perhaps a function or two.

Richard

Hi Richard,

Thanks for your answer. I wanted to ask you a quesiton regarding a database that I'm building. The database contains refinery turnaround information. Now I would like to use a pivot table for that database, but the problem is that my column labels are horizontal and my daily dates(going down for a yea and half) are posted vertically. I tried changing the column labes the other way around but was not able to do that since posting the dates horizontally will only give till about september? Now on this database i have columns with the refinery names, country, duration of the shutdown etc... I would like to be able to use a pivot table on this information.
Thanks and looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards,

Philippe

This may be a limitation on Excel Pivot charts. What version of Access are you using? There are Pivot tables in Access from version 2002/xp onwards.

Regards

Richard
