a macro is a sequence of steps / commands that can be stored and then recalled with a single click or keyboard stroke.

For example, in Excel you may want to create a button that when pressed, will change the margins of a page, add gridlines, and change the Font to bold. By using a Macro you could record this action, and any time you press the button, it would repeat those steps to your active worksheet

Here's how to move or copy sheets between workbooks in Excel 2010:

Open the sheet you want to move or copy then on the Ribbon click the Home tab. Click Format. Under Organize Sheets, select the option Move or Copy Sheet and then choose where you want the sheet to be moved/copied to.
