When typing text into an excel cell how do I create a new paragraph in the same cell rather than the text continuing on from the previous sentence? Hitting 'enter' doesn't seem to work.

Hiya Jenny,

Thanks for the question.

Excel does not have the word processing abilities of word and text formatting options are limited. There is no paragraph break, however, have you tried starting the new paragraph in a new cell further down the page?

Alternatively you could create a text box with the drawing toolbar at the bottom of your screen and using this you can section off paragraphs. The button to the right of the oval shape.
