Doron has attended:
Excel Intermediate course

Color Coding

I have seen excell sheets that automatically highlight a cell in red if the number is negative, and leave it in black if it is positive. How can I program this?

RE: Color Coding

Hi Doron,

Thanks for the question.

These can be found if you go to Format-> Cells and the first tab number. If you look there you will see options where you can choose different colours for negative or positive values.

Good luck

Tracy

Excel tip:

No Zeros

Want all the zeros in your worksheet to appear blank? Choose Tools/Options, Click on the View Tab, Deselect the Zero Values Option, Click OK.
Easy wasn't it? But be aware that these cells are not actually blank, they still contain the value zero. This is important because certain functions (ie AVERAGE) make a distinction between blank cells and those with a zero value.
