Michael,

Dreamweaver is purely a web design application. For graphics work I would recommend using applications such as Adobe Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro.

If you just want to draw a shape you would probably be best off using Microsoft paint. Once you have drawn your graphics you just save them into a folder and then insert them into your web page.

Regards,
Rich / David

Dreamweaver tip:

Testing a site

When developing a site, you have to cater to the widest possible audience allowing for users with different browsers and display settings.
Test pages to see how they look with:

- different display resolutions
- browser with graphics turned off
- many different browsers not just IE
- if possible different operating systems.
