Database replicas
by - delegate Dan [11 posts] (2007 Aug 30 Thu, 08:43) Reply
After creating a replica, it was deleted and now we just have the replica and not the master.
When trying to change the programming in the database I get the message.
'You cannot make changes to the design of the database at this replica'
To counter this I have tried to re-replicate the database to make a new master, and when trying that I get the message
'Cannot replicate MSysAccessObjects in Tables container replicable'
How can I change the format of the database to enable amendments to the program?
RE: Database replicas
Hi Dan
I have not come across this problem myself, however I suggest that you have a look at the setting when you create the replica. There may be some settings that you need to change in order to create a replica that you can use.
Hope this helps.
David

I don't understand when you say
' look at the setting when you create the replica. '
there doesn't seem to be any option to set anything?
RE: Database replicas
Hi Dan
That was just an option I thought may/should have been there. I will look in to this further for you and if I find an answer I will let you know. At this point currently do not have a solution for you.
Good luck, If you find an answer before I do, please post the solution.
Thanks
David
