Hi Brett. Not sure whether you want to convert, say, quicktime files to avi or whether you want to make an avi file out of a powerpoint presentation. If the former, you need a package such as Adobe Premiere (or any of the numerous media manipulation packages free on the web), load in your quicktime file and export as an avi. If you want to make an avi file out of a powerpoint presentation, you can use the "Record And Save Broadcast" facility under the slide show menu.
