Hi Peter,

You could Insert Excel file from Tasks in Outlook.

1) Open task in Outlook
2) Insert menu > file
3) select excel file
4) press ok

Hi thank you for the reply, i didnt really ask the question correctly, what i wanted to know was how to combine excel with outlook tasks so that if i enter a date into a excel spreadsheet i will get an alert via outlook tasks on that date, it would need to be an on going spreadsheet and every date i enter will automaticly go into outlook tasks?. (that about covers it i think)

Sorry for this late reply Peter.

Excel cannot open Outlook task automatically. But there is an option in Excel to open Outlook task.

1) In Excel, open menu View > Toolbars > Reviewing
2) The 9th button, "ClipBoard with a red tick", will open Outlook Task window.

See if that's what you are after.

Excel tip:

Entering text in Multiple Worksheets

If you have a number of worksheets in a workbook that require the same information (data or tables) on each worksheet, this can be done as follows:

Hold down the Ctrl key and click one or more of the additional worksheet tabs (i.e. Sheet2, Sheet3, etc).

In your mainsheet (Sheet1) enter the required data or design a table.

When done 'Click' on the other sheet tabs and you will see that the information entered in Sheet1 is on all the other selected worksheets.

NB Do not forget to deselect the worksheets - otherwise you may add data to the main worksheet and all the selected worksheets will also have that data!
