Patricia has attended:
Excel Intermediate course

Choose multiple cells

When you use the control key to choose multiple cells, how do you unhighlight a cell that you've chosen in error, without having to start all over again?!

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Choose multiple cells

Hi Patricia

To do this all you need to do is to release the control key and then press the control key and click on the cell you wish to unhighlight. Once complete, you can go back to the where you got to, click the contol key and continue highlighting.

Hope this helps.
David

Excel tip:

New to Excel 2010 - Sparklines!

Excel 2010 includes a new feature called Sparklines which are tiny charts that fit into a single cell and plot data in cells from the worksheet. There are a host of formatting and styles that can be applied to them and they are really quite interesting.

>insert
>sparklines
>Choose any style you want

You will be asked for the range and it will automatically select the cell your in to insert the sparklines.
