Copying data - please help asap

I am trying to copy data from one spreadsheet to another however the area it needs to be posted to has filters on it and therefore I cannot paste into the fields

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Copying data - please help asap

Can you remove the filters? (DATA> FILTER > AUTOFILTER)
Then paste the data, and reset the filter

Regards

Richard

RE: Copying data - please help asap

NOt really I am copying into a spreadsheet that has over 1600 entires and I am getting the data back by company with about 20 lines of data - however thinking now I may be able to sort by company rather than filter?

Sorting may be the way.

If you do remove the filter, as suggested, simply paste the data at the end of the list, and then refilter

Let me know how you do.

Richard

Excel tip:

Reset Excel toolbars to default settings

If you find any of your toolbars in Excel have changed (i.e. they are missing or have extra buttons) then you can reset them to their defaults.

1. Go to Tools - Customise.
2. Select the Toolbars tab.
3. Select (highlight) the name of the toolbar you wish to reset, then click the Reset button on the right.
4. Close the dialogue box.
