Lock a form
I've set a main form which opens by default when users enter the database but I would like to know how you lock a form so that users can't access the database behind it? & also how you unlock it after you've done this.

Hi AmyYes you are able to lock database tables. If you go to tools and then options in the menu bar at the top of Microsoft Access a options window will open. The areas that will be of interest to you are view tab, this will enable you to remove the screen where you can select the tables you want to see. The other tabs that will be useful for you are the Advanced table and the tables/queries. Within these tabs you will be able to lock down the database tables and set permissions that the uses have.
