Risk

How do I flag potential risks to the project?

RE: Risk

Hi Adele

Thanks for your question. You could run a filter to show you the tasks Project consider critical (click on the "show all tasks" drop down on the tool bar or go to the Project menu and choose filtered for then select critical.

You could also add a flag field and use that to mark tasks as "risk" - right click on a column and choose insert column. From the field list choose flag1 (perhaps setting the title to Risk) and set the flag to yes for those tasks that meet your criteria.

Alternatively you could insert a text field such as text1 and use it to store a value (perhaps 1 to 5) allowing you to prioritise risk per task.

I hope this is helpful - let us know if you have any other questions.

Kind regards,

Andrew

Ms project tip:

MS Project 2010 Scroll to Task

Ever feel lost on a large project file? In Gantt view, Task ribbon, Editing, click on the Scroll to Task tool to centre the task bar on your screen.

Shortcut Ctrl+Shift+F5

Same as Go to Selected Task in MS Project 2003.
