dummy question: is it possible to accientally create a loop that will not stop running and if so how can it be broken ? escape button ?

Hi Sameer

You can create a loop that does not end. To stop it running you can press the end key on the keyboard or if the worst comes to the worst, just restart your computer.

Once you have stopped the loop then I suggest you go in and change your code so that you do not have an no ending loop again.

Hide Access Tables

One method of stopping your Access tables appearing in Database window, is to rename the table(s) with the prefix usys.

This converts the table into a system object, which cannot be viewed in the Database window.

You can show system objects in the Database window by the following:

Step 1: On the Tools menu, click Options.
Step 2: Click the View tab.
Under Show, select the System Objects check box.
Click OK.
