When recording a macro can I open up seperate folders & Documents that links back to current worksheet?

Hi Ben, Thanks for the post. Yes you can record a macro which will open different documents, the macro will record your mouse clicks and key strokes and replay them when you call it up, however it may be useful as an alternative to create a Workspace icon which includes all the linked workbooks and then record a macro to open the workspace icon, which will simplify it considerably.

 

Excel tip:

Selecting your working range

In excel if you have an area you want to highlight, press Ctrl + * or Ctrl+Shift+8 (to get the *). This will select your working range.
