Editing is something user does if they want to make any changes or amendments to the existing data without deleting it.
If the cell only has text then you can easily edit it by double clicking on it and when the cursor blinks inside the cell simply start making your necessary changes!!
TIP: you can also use the F2 keyboard short cut to have the cursor blinking inside the cell
If you are trying to edit a cell containing a formula or function then when you double click on the cell you automatically see the different colours of cell range/reference which you can confirm if they are correct. If not then you can delete teh existing range and chnage it to the correct one!!
