Task completion

How would you mark a task as fully completed?

RE: Task completion

Hi Tayyab

There are several ways of doing this - perhaps the quickest is to move your mouse pointer to the start of the task's bar on the Gantt chart. You will see your mouse pointer change to a % symbol. Left click and gently drag your mouse over to the end of the task bar. You will see Project draws a line through your bar indicating progress. When this line is at the end of the bar your task is marked 100% complete.

I hope this is helpful - do let us know if you have any other questions.

Andrew

Ms project tip:

Inserting Task Durations Quickly

When entering durations for your tasks simply use the single letters - m for min, h for hr, d for day, w for week, but mon for month. If default is set for days, you need only type the number, for example 3 for 3days, or 0.5 for half a day.
