Select the slide you want to insert the video.
From the Menu bar, select INSERT > MOVIES & SOUNDS > MOVIE FROM FILE
Then navigate to the relevent folder / file.
click ok.

Position & size the video clip on the slide.
Preview by running the slide show.

When you are moving tabs using the ruler the pain is that they jump, but if you use the CTRL key and then click on the tab it will allow you to move it anywhere you want.
