Thank you for your question.
You can hide a worksheet by going to Format - Sheet - Hide. To unhide the sheet, select Format - Sheet - Unhide and then choose the sheet you wish to unhide from the box that appears, and click OK. So it is fairly straightforward to unhide a hidden worksheet.
If you wish to make hidden information more secure, you could try the following things instead:
- Place a password on a file, so a password would be required to open it; or
- Select the columns or rows you wish to hide in your spreadsheet, right click on the selected rows or columns and choose the Hide option. Then put password protection onto the sheet by going to Tools - Protection - Protect sheet then entering a password to control the application of protection. The protection can be removed by going to Tools - Protection - Unprotect Sheet and entering the password.
You need to remember to apply protection again before closing the worksheet.
