RE: Excel

Hi David

Thank you for your question.

To create a password to open an Excel file:

1. Open the file you wish to create a password for.
2. Go to File - Save as.
3. In the Save As dialogue box, their is a Tools button near the top right corner - click this.
4. Select General Options.
5. Enter a password to open the file, and if you wish, a password to modify the file.
6. Reconfirm the password when prompted.
7. Click OK, then Save. If the file is an existing file, then overwrite it.

I hope this helps.
Amanda
