Is there an easy way of importing txt files that allow all the numbers to be used with formulas if currency is included into excel?

Thank you for attending our Excel Adv. course. I hope you benefited from the course.

Your question about importing text files is not uncommon. As far as I know if you import a text file the values are automatically imported as currency as far as you have entered the £ symbol in the text file.

All the numbers are automatically imported in number format.

Normal calculations can be performed once the numbers are imported.
