When importing data from an Excel sheet into an Access database, will it be possible to import hyperlinks that are already in the excel spreadsheet?

For upcoming training course dates see: Pricing & availability

RE: Access

Hi Adrienne

I would think it is unlikely to import the hyperlinks, as it is usually bringing in just the DATA. Having said that, I would suggest testing it to see if your particular version as the ability to do what you want to.

The process is pretty simple.
Click FILE > GET EXTERNAL DATA> IMPORT OR LINK

Test both IMPORT and LINK.

Let me know how you do.

Access tip:

Remove spaces in a table

If you have a table that has too many space marks littered around, you can create a update query and use the trim function to get rid of any excess space marks
