Dear Bianca

It was nice having you in the training for PowerPoint Introduction!!

It's good to know that you’re learning how to use the shortcut keys. They are very efficient way of improving your performance and add to you existing productivity at work.

I would recommend you to type all your favourite or important shortcut keys in Word Table or Excel spreadsheet and print it out. It is advisable to stick it on the wall where your computer is either at work or home.

Every time you want to carry out the action just refer to the wall and it will belike driving when it will click and you will stop referring to the shortcut keys and would have memorised it. IMPORTANT thing is that you keep on using them if you stop then there is danger of you forgetting them very easily.

Coming to your original question:
The shortcut key for Closing a file in PowerPoint is CTRL+W or you can even use CTRL+F4

TIP: The above shortcut keys are not limited only to PowerPoint but can be used in Word, Excel and other packages.

Hope this helps!!!

Kindest Regards
