Hi Luiza,

Cross-references in Word documents are used if you need to link two sections of text together.

An example of using Corss-reference is to link a keyword of a paragraph with a section which is related to it.

1) Select end of the keyword
2) INSERT menu > Reference > Cross-Reference
3) [REFERENCE TYPE:] box, drop down the list to search for the related section
[INSERT REFERENCE TO:] box, drop down to select how you want to display the text for this reference.
4) Press Insert
5) You can SKIP to the related section by clicking on the hyperlink text.
