RE: MS Project

Hi Monica

Thankyou for the question

If you have created a common resource pool and shared that resource pool among your different projects; then when you open your resource pool project will prompt you to also open a master project file. This file shows all the projects in one GANTT chart and you can then link tasks between projects in exactly the same way as you would link tasks within a project.

Alternatively, if you have no common resource pool you can create your own master project. Just create a new blank project and in the Gannt chart insert each indivisual project on a new line. You do this by clicking on the insert menu and selecting insert project. Once all your projects are inserted, you can link across them in the normal way.

Regards

Stephen

Ms project tip:

Entering Days

To type in a day of the week, or its three letter abbreviation, in a Date field type "Monday" or "Mon", and Project will show the date for the next Monday after the current date.
