I would appreciate some suggestions of uses for Macros in sales spreadsheets.

Hi Katie, thank you for your post. In answer to your question, a macro is a recording of keystrokes and mouse clicks, any task that you wish to duplicate can be recorded as a macro. This means any repetitive task that you undertake on your spreadsheet will be recorded and replayed when you run the macro. Perhaps a calculaltion that involves the same cells and the same formula is one example, or if you wish to undertake a formatting task which is a common repetitive task, record your macro and run it whenever you need. If you record a macro and save it in the Personal Macro Workbook it will be available in every worksheet that you open. I hope that helps, regards Pete.
